What About Bob?
Photography has been a means of expression for me since I was twelve years old. It was at that long ago Christmas that my father gifted me with an all manual Pentax 35mm SLR. That camera became the gateway through which I looked at the world differently than ever before.
Photography has led me on a life long quest to find the unique beauty within ordinary objects and people. “Seeing” the world through an eyepiece has enabled me to discover the uniqueness of a place, an object or a person, so often overlooked as we rush through our lives. Then of course is the challenge of capturing that uniqueness and emotion on film, freezing that moment in time. It is a challenge which continues to stimulate, renew and invigorate me.
I have shown my work in shows and galleries throughout New York. Several of my photos are part of a permanent exhibit at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. I am excited that my website will allow me to present my images to a broader audience. Enjoy!
